Everything you do is influential. Even your love for clouds. Let me tell you a story about something I encountered. I would frequently stop in the middle of nowhere to get a shot of the sky and the clouds. Every time I glance up at the sky to predict weather, I look to the clouds. One day, I was on my way home with a couple of friends and we were walking when I glanced up at the sky and saw a beautiful array of clouds. There was cirrus clouds, cirrocumuli and wisps of fractus. So, I whipped out my trusty camera and took so much pictures. I was in a crowd then, so I stopped in my tracks and stood there, admiring the scenery. Most people realised my halt and looked at where I was pointing my camera at and stopped to glance at the sky too and some even whipped out their smart phones to get a picture. See? One move influences others to follow. Perhaps, some have seen the beauty of creation and nature. Not just yourself, but others can be taken away and intrigued with the study of clouds if you would just choose to influence them and I'm proud to say, my family has never really taken notice of clouds unless they just occasionally glance up to a scenic view then snap a picture and leave. But now, because of my love for clouds, they have been coming with me to watch the sunrise and sunsets and would often ask me a load of questions about the weather based on the clouds and would often remember the names of the clouds because I've been repeatedly saying those names for a year of cloud study. So start today, influence your friends and family for the beautiful creation of clouds is much to be appreciated and cherished today.
What's up? It has been a few months since I updated my site. I apologise deeply for the wait as my school work has been keeping me away from the clouds however, I still keep track of the crazy weather in Singapore. Fortunately, the examinations are already over, thus, I can finally relax and keep on clouding. I have recently created a new website on aging population and will introduce it to you guys as soon as I am done with the website. Treasure your loved ones. Give thanks to the Lord because it is He who brought all the magnificent creations of His hands unto this world. Without Earth, we wouldn't be able to see the most breathtaking sights on this very planet. That includes clouds. Be thankful for what you have. Save the environment. Climate change is taking place in every part of the Earth. It's getting warmer and warmer each day as the icebergs melt and raise the sea level bit by bit. Is the Earth really going to come to this? This has also got to do with clouds! Be eco-friendly. People who understand how much danger the Earth is in would spread the message to save Mother Earth, but if you're taking things for granted...don't. Cherish what you have before it slips away...The new section will be uploaded shortly this week and please introduce this site to your friends and families...and HAPPY 2013:) This was the first ever time seeing an iridescent clouds. I thought that these rare clouds could only be seen in Europe or somewhere in Russia but it appeared in Asia. Right in Malaysia. I have also received a picture of a similar optical phenomenon like this in Singapore which shares quite a similar image. I hope you guys are intrigued by this rare sight as I am. Clouds have been in our lives the whole time, a wonderful creation some notice. Look up in the sky, you might not know the beauty of clouds until you see and experience it yourself. The brilliance of the Earth is truly magnificent. Treasure this time to think about what you could do to save the Earth. Step by step. We cannot let climate change affect the weather and all natural grounds because this is our home. Think about your future generations. Are you still going to let them have the chance to experience the times which come once in a blue moon? Take this Christmas time to appreciate your loved ones and the surrounding nature you should be thankful for. Snow sets the perfect Christmas mood. Pine trees remind you of Christmas. Over 340 views...I'm overwhelmed. There will be more updates coming your way! Check in later! THANK YOU! #biglove Hey! First of all, thank you for visiting my site! I hope you will gradually find interest in the study and photography of clouds through this website! Feel free to ask me any questions! I'll try to reply within a week or so. I first got interested in clouds when my Geography teacher took us to a website called "Cloud Boutique" and introduced us to the various types of clouds. I was taken aback by the stunning pictures of the clouds and I kept bothering my classmate, telling him, "Oh this is so beautiful, that too! Wait, no this is my favourite. Do you know how they form?" And of course my classmate did not know the answer to my questions and just brushed me off. Well, my eyes were constantly glued to the screen until my Geography teacher shut the window down and proceeded with lessons that included the syllabus. That afternoon, I kept looking at the sky, hoping to capture a picture of any amazing cloud patterns. The first cloud I ever noticed was the stratocumulus cloud which is shown in the picture attached. When I had spare time, I went to the library in the weekends and borrowed books about clouds and one I would recommend to all you cloud lovers out there is "The Book Of Clouds" by John A.Day. So that sums up the start of my study of clouds and I hope yours starts soon too beginning with this site (: |
