cumulonimbus ahead!
This was sent in to me by one of my teachers. It pictures a cumulonimbus cloud with a slight gap separating it from the cirrus clouds tipping at the edge. It is quite a rare sight in Singapore.

altostratus and friends!
This was sent in to me by one of my friends. It pictures altostratus clouds and a messy formation of stratocumuli and a bit of cirrus stretching at the top. Occasional rains will happen between these few days.

Window seats on a plane...always the best
This was sent in to me by one of my friends. It pictures cirrostratus clouds, cumulus congestus, fractus, stratocumulus billow, cumulus, alto stratocumulus, and more cumulus CLOUDS. These pictures were taken at Hongkong and Taiwan on a window seat on a plane, giving a clear view of the layers and heaps of clouds in a whole different perspective and angle.

Sunsets by the beach, magnificent sights coming your way
This was sent to me by one of my friends. It was taken in Malaysia, by the horizon where you can see the distinctive line that separates the sea and the skies. In all of these pictures, a common cloud is stratocumuli. In the second picture in the first row, if you look closely, there is actually a pileui cloud forming into a lenticular cloud. This is uncommon in sunsets but lenticular clouds form at great heights. In the 6th picture in the second row, there are cumulus congestus clouds and a layer of stratocumli, altostrati and pileui covering a partial area of the puffy cloud. The vibrant colours of the sunsets are certainly a sight you would not want to miss.
